Interim Captain Training

Today’s marine environment offers many fantastic activities. Pleasure boating and entertaining go hand in hand. With increased authority presence, stringent laws regarding operating under the influence, and “courtesy inspections” in open waters comes the Skippers decision as to whether “having a couple with our guests” is worth the risk of an OWI. Another reason for an Interim Captain is when Family and Friends are unable to use the Vessel because the owner/captain is not available. In Michigan our summers are too short and precious as it is. If the family Vessel sits idle in the slip while Captain Dad is away on business, let Captain Mike get the family and friends out on the water safely while your vessel is Skippered by a competent Captain.

It should also be noted that Captain Mike can also be hired and functions superbly as a First Mate for Ferry/Delivery voyages.
